ECLECTIC ELLAPU CHALLENGE....."ANYTHING GOES"

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend...It's the start of the weekly challenge at ELECTIC ELLAPU
The theme chosen by our Lovely Leader Elaine... "Anything Goes" so create anything you like..card, tag, layout , canvas, the list is never ending...so pop over and take part we would love to see your wonderful projects......We also have a Fantastic new Bunch of DT Members..Please pop over and say Hi...

I have had this body-form forever..so I decided to alter it.. For the main body I used some napkins from Caspari.. I cut these into squares then adhered them with some watered down PVA glue..The butterfly body I cut from old material.. I found this piece of  rolled flowered material in the loft in a bag full of fabric that I keep for just in-case... you know the box I mean ladies and Gents we all hold on to stuff... & me it's a fabric box... I added some flowers, lace, & pins... I did make a flower from the napkins also but a little hard to see from pics... I mounted the form onto an old wooden candlestick which I painted cream!  It was really difficult to photograph this so I hope you can see it OK... Have a great Sunday..

Today is the start of a New Recipe over at Dragons Dream (Tag it on)  the Recipe this fortnight is ---Yellow---Lightbulb---Wire....sounds fun  Looking forward to all your fabulous takes on the recipe... The only rules are It must be a Tag with at least one real stamp used...so come on over HERE and join in the fun....

I stamped & embossed the background & coloured with distress ink squeezed lemonade,The stamps used are from Hero Arts newsprint.. & paperartsy.. some of the words are rub ons..the lightbulb is from Junkyard Findings (Prima), I hope this finds you all well x x x

TIM HOLTZ POCKET WATCH.....

Hi Everyone,

 I treated myself to the new pocket watch die from Tim Holtz, I hope you like what I have made with it!... I was thinking of making more of this style to hang on a banner in my craft room....
I am off work this week  (doctors orders) he's diagnosed Acute Bronchitis so started more antibiotics....that's what that cough is..... , so staying home & rest & CRAFT of course...

Having a little play

Hi Everyone,

I'm still coughing Yikes will it every stop... even the cat's left home with the noise I'm making..... So I decided I would have a little play to see if I could take my mind off it...( did'nt work)...tee-hee..
Well I used the big shot pro to cut this box out it's really a great size will be ideal for Birthday & Christmas...these dies are so expensive...But I got this still in wrapper off a friend for £12.00 these dies are 12 x 12 so it's big... I have a wee selection now mostly I buy them from ebay.... the big shot pro! I bought that for £100.00 pounds plus 3 new dies.. you've guessed it I'm a wee bargain hunter.. I'm not Scottish for nothing you know (lol)  I hope you all are enjoying your weekend & Thank you so much for your kind visit today..

 I decorated the box with some SU newsprint papers I added some burlap round the middle of box with some muslin cloth, added lace & trim to the sides of the lid & made a quick flower from some fine linen cloth for the top, the pearl buttons are from my stash.....

 This one is an empty coffee jar, very simple just some burlap & lace I added buttons to the bottom of the jar... Hope you like them..

I'm still coughing!! the ribs are feeling very sorry for themselves Yikes!!! Hopefully it will settle down soon!!
Well today I would Love to share an  Adorable image from Nicecrane designs...The images over at the blog
& store  HERE are simply Fabulous....

I coloured this little cute image with flexi-markers.. the background has been stamped with assorted stamps & some washi tape & the paper is from Pinkpaislee... I used distress inks, frayed burlap, peacock feather, broken china...the muslin cloth & lace ribbon I dyed in some coffee to get the aged effect,  the metal embellishments are from my stash...

Wedding Card today...

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are enjoying the Bank Holiday... The Sunshine is fabulous in the south today... Although I have a cough that kept me awake most the night... Yikes!! ( where has that come from)  I have made a Wedding Card Today  My daughter's friend is getting married soon and my daughter asked me to make  a yellow & white Wedding card.. the bride's colours..  So I hope she likes it!!

I used those wonderful pre coloured sheets from the hobby house.. this sheet is called Love me do... the papers are from the  scrapcake range, the little hanging hearts are from memory box & the die-cut corners are spellbinders.. the flowers are from my stash...
