WOYWW 136 "Making cards"

A wee bit of a mess on the desk today my aim to make a few home sweet home cards for a challenge coming up soon.
These papers are from good old Costco, no designer papers today, a real bargain they were over 200 sheets 12x12 assorted for £20.00 pounds, and most of them are really nice, I'm not Scottish for nothing you know (lol)
some of the finished cards, at least they kept me out of mischief for a few hours .
If you are wondering why!! I am putting a pic of my desk on here it's all down to the lovely Julie over at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ call over and view desks from all over the world be warned it's very addictive but fun, Thank you for your visit today, Hugs May x x x x x x

Gosh those papers are lovely..I don't care enough about designer to be bothered by where they come from, I just have to like them! Have fun making the cards. What is the white gadgety thing in the top photo then? Something phone related?

Hey! I always find Scottish people very generous with their time and money. But English people....well!
Nice stuff on your desk today. How come I can never get bargains?

Costco do craft stuff?!?!?! Well I never...oh dear I feel this may be my downfall!

Congrats on being able to stock Sugar Nellie stamps in your shop (was reading your other blog also).

Hello May, you have some lovely cards made there and I really like the colours in those papers. Am an absolute sucker for papers myself and then hate cutting them. Thanks for popping over to see me (and the news at work was OK, not great but OK for the time being) Hugs Cindy @ # 52

Pretty adorable cards!
I buy paper that I like; doesn't matter if it's "designer paper" or not! There's so much out there to enjoy.

I have that same bag of papers. The ones I don't like I swish Gesso over to tone the colour down and then smoosh ink pads over and things like that. Finally random stamping with black ink and I get a great background.
Thanks for sharing and for commenting on my blog - Hugs, Neet xx
