WOYWW 141

Hi Everyone, Thank you all who visited me last week and your kind comments!! Well on my desk this week is a pic of my next crafty venture I'm going to get started on my first shadow box (12x12) always wanted to try one of these, its going to be a male layout of my Grandson, (the pic on the  right) when we were on holiday in Canada last year. I have so many pics of this trip it should keep me in layouts for years to come (lol).

What a great idea May, I've never attempted anything like that before, too chicken to do anything but cards!! Feet are incredibly toasty, I've kept the socks on for this evening.

Now, see, I know it has ben suggested to link to the specific WOYWW post, but I always see something cool on the screen from previous days :) LOVE the V-day tag. So vintage and pretty. Wondering about the ripped and scrunched paper with the hole i the middle, however. Hope we'll get to see what that is all about :)

As a non cardmaker/scrapbooker, I have absolutely NO idea what a shadow box is not why you have a very nicely ripped circle in that paper!! Please show and tell soon, cos I'm dying to see how you use it :)

Like Lunch Lady Jan, I have no real idea what a shadow box is for and what to do with it. I did Google it but I wasn't much wiser after that, so I am intrigued to see what you do.
