WOYWW 144

Remember this from last week , well it worked a dream I put it through the big shot to cut some hearts and butterflys and it cut with no problems, I thought it would break up! to my delight it did'nt

as you can see from this pic I got quite a bunch of them! so now what to do with them!!
The green tag has two plain hearts cut from cardboard underneath the tissue paper before I painted it, its difficult to make out in the pic, the blue one had some plain hearts put on top before painting with the croco crackling paint, I prefer the green one as the tissue paper underneath I think gives a lot more texture, I have to finish these off as still thinking about what to do with them!!
This tag is my take on Sir Timmie's Tag for march, I did'nt have his wood effect background stamp and I used a different type of butterfly which was stamped then embossed, I also did not have any of his metal flowers so just used some glassine paper for the flower
So if you are asking why is this mad woman is showing us what's on her desk, well, it;s all down to the lovely Julia over at whats-on your-workdesk-wednesday ( WOYWW)
http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/  pop over and take a peek at the worlds creative desks and take part!! Be warned it's very addictive! enjoy!! Thank you for your visit today,  Hugs May x x x

Hi May, the result of your experimentation is really impressive, love the texture on the hearts and the tags are shaping up very nicely. Your take on Timmy tag is terrific - you can always find substitutes in what you already have to create something similar and just as good.

Leadhills - 10 or so years ago, when we were house hunting in the area, we drove out to view a rather dreadful little cottage there, needless to say we didn't buy, but we did like the village and surroundings - I imagine it could be quite bleak in winter so sunny Eastbourne must be quite a draw :)

Hope you have a lovely WOYWW day. Elizabeth x #22

PS about the eggs, I used to work for a florist and was always picking through the trash ;) I think you could find these eggs in a craft store floral section. Mine have little sticks in them that would be used as picks in arrangements. They are styrofoam on the inside so easy to cut.
