Hi Everyone, Gosh!!! Its Wednesday again, where does the time go? On my desk today I bought some texture stamps I have'nt used these before and some light molding paste when dry and removed from stamps, I was informed that these can then be put through the big shot or cut to whatever shape you wish and coloured etc, so looking foward to doing something with these.  The croco paint I bought is to try out on some tags I have planned to make!!
Look at the size of these stamps with the acrylic block to match there are three strips in this pack and they are made by Hero Arts, these will be great for scrapbooking or cards, can't wait to have a play!
The molding paste had set and this is the result of  texture stamps "love it" I plan to cut heart shapes out of this and play around with colours, it is extremely flexible I think I will enjoy messing about with this.If anyone is wondering why! I am showing whats on my desk, well this is all down to the lovely Julia over at WOYWW pop over and visit desks from all over the world and join in if you wish! but be warned it's highly addictive  I wish to thank everyone who visited my desk last week and for all your kind comments!! Have a great wednesday, Hugs May x x x x

Remember this from last week, well I did finish it, However under direction from the little person in the pic, I was under strict instructions that he had his street credit to think of so NO flowers or ribbon In fact he choose the few elements that was used and he was very happy with the result!
If I had a Grandaughter I could have gone to town on the flower, glitter, ribbon front!! Maybe in the future that will happen who knows!!

Now dont faint!! That's if you are still awake? I have been having a wee crafty week, so below is one of Sir Timmies's configuration boxes which may I add I have had for well over year, My plan of action was to make it into a family theme, but I just got carried away doing all the bits and bobs that I love in crafting  so it's a wee bit of everything

So lots of bits from my lovely stash! oooooo I love stash, I must say after the pics were taken I have darkened the box with Timmie's distress inks so it looks a little older  and a little better now, sorry to bore you with all these pics,If you are wondering why I am rabbiting on about what's on my desk, Well it's all down to the lovely Julia over at pop over for a visit to desks all over the world and join in ! be warned it's very addictive but lots of fun

This is my tag this week for Tag Tuesday, theme Valentines day, so I decided to go for a little vintage romance, I had a lot of fun making this tag.

Lots of stamping went on and each smaller tag fits behind the image which was fun
The heart was die cut from one of sir timmie's dies, and covered with lace.
The back of the tag is just plain with cupid & heart again sorry it's a sir timmie's die again, I do have other dies I promise!!!!
I think to see this better you have to click the photo to make it a little larger, quite difficult to get a good photo of this one , as the light is not that good today, Well thank you so much for your visit and pop over to tag tuesday and have a look at some wonderful tags from very clever and gifted artists, I do not claim to be anywhere near their level of standard x x Hugs May x x x

Sunday, 12 February 2012

I started this tag by dry embossing the tag, then added some stamped images on tissue paper with mod podge, then using distress ink to add some colour to the background
Stamped another image from CI stamps C1-331 and cut out, coloured with distress inks, and the wet embossed, and bent a few times to give a bit of texture to it.
The butterfly is from Tim Holtz die and covered with lace and edge's distressed
This effect on the bottom with the flowers is using my new buy below
The mega flakes, I was very happy with the results
as you can  see from this picture they are quite lovely, and can be used  for stamping also
Thank you for your visit today sorry if the pictures are not as clear as I would have liked but quite a a dull day out there today!!!! Happy Sunday x x x Hugs May x x
