Tag Tuesday HEARTS....

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all are well and keeping warm & dry....my heart goes out to these people who are suffering so much with the flooding.....I have to get something off my chest...I may not be popular but it's what I believe we need to STOP sending sooooo much money out of this country to foreign aid,,, we need work done on on own doorstep...not a patch up job but A REAL flood defense in place it's heartbreaking to watch these people devastated by these floods...have we had any help from other countries to help them   NO....Sorry I feel so angry about this I have worked all my life paid taxes for 40 years..and still am.....use our money wisely Mr Government Do something for Britain for a change Okay....Okay... Moan over I do feel better... Sorry if this upsets anyone but it's my opinion freedom of speech as they say....phew I need a lie down!!!!

Well here is my tag for Tag Tuesday... the theme is hearts...so I had a great time with my frantage as you can see...the background was stamped with the fabulous off the grid stamp from SU I embossed it with seafoam white embossing powder and the background heart is also from SU also...I hope you like it....

Thank you so much for your visit today...Keep Safe x x x

May you are absolutely right. If these floods were in Africa or some other foreign country we would be sending money to help them. Our own poor people are suffering so much and it is an absolute disgrace!! My husband keep saying the same thing.

Off my soapbox and back to your lovely tag. It's great and I love the sentiment attached. Hugs Christine xx

I am totally with you there May.

This is a wonderfully inspirational piece and lovely crackle affect. I bought myself some of the Kroma Crackle at the weekend, but I don't think I put enough on with my first try as it's not cracked as I expected.

We have the same problem in the USA! If they would listen to us ordinary people, most problems would be solved! I sure hope the weather changes over there for you all!! This is your blog and you can speak your mind, no need to fear, real friends will always be back to visit you!! What you say is heartfelt emotion for the welfare of others.
Your tag is wonderful, love the cracked heart and the stamped ones on the background add some fun interest. Lovely tag!!
Have a great day,

The grid stamp in the background is wonderful May and I just LOVE the crackled heart, it is stunning.

I totally agree with you May, I also think it is sad that the Somerset levels have been suffering for 8 whole weeks but after one day's flooding on the Thames, the Government now says it will help. No logic there... Hugs, Anne xx

Fab texture tag May. Love it. Tonight they are saying that the foundations of the roads in Somerset will be damaged as they have been under water so long, I so agree that we should fix home first. xx Flora

Well said May - you are perfectly right.

Great tag.

Well said May, I'm in total agreement with you, especially as not all of the money donated actually reaches the disaster victims anyway. It's about time the government of the day looked after their own citizens.
Your tag is beautiful, lovely shades and just love the crackled heart, hugs Kate X

I hear you there May, it is sadly the same here in Oz, we have a looney-tune for a PM right now, and not the fun kind, its just so disillusioning!!!

Love your tag, loving the white on Kraft, great textures!

This is another gorgeous tag May, I love your background and fabulous crackled heart.
I totally agree with you, we should be looking after our own for a change and get on top of the problems over here rather that just patching things up until the next time.

Love that crackly heart, May! Such a true sentiment, too.
Here in Washington State we are very familiar with flooding. We have very high mountains and many, many rivers that overflow their banks regularly, causing death and widespread destruction. In my county (Pierce Co.) we have just set up a 'Flood Control' plan. This is to fund much needed levies and other preventative measures. It is funded by an added tax that we voted on. This might be something worth looking into for your area. Hugs xo Karen
